Michael Foley, MD has worked in the medical field since 1999. Michael began their career as an Emergency Physician at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Madison, and also served as President & CEO of Madison Emergency Physicians. In 2000, they became a Flight Physician for UW Health. Michael has also been a Clinical Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, School of Medicine and Public Health since 1999. Most recently, they have been the Chief Medical Officer of Jango Diagnostics at JangoBio since 2020.

Dr. Michael Foley obtained a Bachelor's degree in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies from Augustana College from 1986 to 1991. Michael then attended the UW School of Medicine and Public Health from 1991 to 1996, where they earned a Doctor of Medicine - MD degree. Michael completed an Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Indiana University School of Medicine from 1996 to 1999. In 1999, they obtained their Wisconsin Medicine & Surgery certification from the State of Wisconsin - Department of Safety and Professional Services. In October 2000, they were certified as an ABEM Diplomate by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and also obtained their FAAEM certification from the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM).
