Joseph Bailey

VP, Combat Capabilities & Systems Engineering Solutions at JANUS Research Group, Inc.

Joe serves as the Vice President for the Combat Capabilities and Systems Engineering Solutions (C2S2) Business Unit providing programmatic and operational support for DoD and commercial mission partners. Joe joined JANUS in 2007 to support the TRADOC Capability Manager for Tactical Radios, he was then selected to transition to Aberdeen Proving Grounds to manage the JANUS programs supporting the acquisition community.

Joe has over 20 years of service supporting Warfighters as a Soldier, Officer, and contractor. He has an in-depth understanding of joint warfighter requirements, including broad knowledge of military Service combat platforms and integration of C2S2 capabilities into joint warfighting operations.

During his time in the United States Army, Joe served as a Public Affairs Specialist publishing articles, newspapers and magazines throughout the US Army Pacific (USARPAC). Joe is a US Army Officer Candidate School (OCS) graduate and Signal Corps war veteran. Joe deployed multiple times during Operation IRAQI FREEDOM as the lead Project Manager and Logistics Officer for the installation and management of all strategic and tactical data communications packages distributed throughout the US Central Command (CENTCOM) areas of operations.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications; Journalism from Towson University and a Master of Science degree in Information Systems Management from University of Phoenix.
