Tomoyuki Hirata

Tomoyuki Hirata is an accomplished professional in international finance and policy, currently serving as the Chief Representative of the Washington D.C. Office of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation since July 2017. Hirata has held various key positions within the organization, including Chief Representative of the Paris Office, Director of the Strategic Research Department, and Director of the Policy Planning Department. Prior to these roles, Hirata served as the Senior Representative of the Bangkok Office from July 2015 to May 2017. Educationally, Hirata holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Public Law from The University of Tokyo, completed in March 2000.
