Yusuke Saito

Yusuke Saito is an experienced economist currently working at the Japan Bank for International Cooperation since October 2008, where responsibilities include assessing and assigning sovereign credit ratings for 26 countries across various regions. Prior to this role, Yusuke Saito served as Assistant Division Manager at Mizuho Corporate Bank from April 2001 to September 2008, supervising a team and managing risk for credited loans in accordance with Basel II guidelines. Additionally, between June 2004 and May 2006, Yusuke Saito worked as a researcher for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, participating in diplomatic negotiations with the United States. Yusuke Saito holds a Master in Public Administration with a focus on International Economics from Harvard Kennedy School (2011-2012) and a Bachelor of Arts in Policy Management, also focusing on International Economics, from Keio University (1996-2000).
