JAPAN LOGISTIC SYSTEMS CORP. is engaged in logistics business. The Company has four business segments. The Trucking segment is engaged in the transportation of cargoes by trucks. The Center segment is engaged in cargo handling business, including loading and unloading, distribution processing business, such as assembly, cutting and packaging, as well as agency business, such as order entry agency and inventory management. The Asset segment is involved in the storage of entrusted goods in warehouses, as well as the leasing and brokerage of real estate properties. The Others segment is engaged in the provision of services related to relocation, construction, import and export freight handling, customs clearing, harbor transportation and staffing, among others. The Company is also involved in nonlife insurance agency business, commodity sales business and general lease business. As of March 31, 2014, the Company had 21 subsidiaries, three associated companies and two affiliated companies.
