Geoff Day has a diverse work experience, beginning with The Hershey Company in 2005 as a Retail Sales Representative. In 2008, they joined the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET) as an English Language Teacher in Gunma Prefecture. In 2010, they moved to Cisco as an Account Manager and Business Consultant, and then in 2011 they worked as an Account Manager and Business Consultant for WPP. Since 2013, they have been the COO of Japan Travel K.K., managing a diverse and international travel company of more than 50 staff and hundreds of partners.
Geoff Day attended Texas Tech University - Rawls College of Business from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a degree in International Business with a focus on Marketing, Management, Finance, Accounting, and Japanese. In 2004, they also attended Sophia University to study Japanese and Business. Additionally, Geoff has obtained certifications from JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) in 2013, Google Analytics Essential Training from lynda.com in 2013, Salesforce.com Certified Administrator from Salesforce.com in 2011, Microsoft Office Specialist (Office 2010) from Certiport in 2010, and Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from BridgeTEFL in 2008.
