Emily Anderson

History Curator at Japanese American National Museum

Emily Anderson is a history curator with experience at the Japanese American National Museum, where Emily works on a project related to the history of scouting in American concentration camps during World War II. Emily is also the founder of Imorknits, a company that creates knotted accessories inspired by Japanese design and Scandinavian techniques. Additionally, Emily has worked as an independent researcher and as the Director of Exhibit Development at the San Diego Museum of Man. Emily has a Ph.D. in History from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Philosophy from Claremont McKenna College.
