Braunstein began their career as a case manager at Jewish Family Service of Metropolitan Detroit. Shaindle quickly rose through the ranks, becoming the agency's Chief Information Officer in 2011 and Chief Operating Officer in 2014. In their role as COO, Braunstein was responsible for the agency's 11.6 million dollar budget and 150 employees.
In 2018, Braunstein left Jewish Family Service to become the CEO of JARC. JARC is a social service agency that provides support to individuals with developmental disabilities. As CEO, Braunstein is responsible for the organization's overall strategy and operations.
Shaindle Braunstein has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Walsh College of Accountancy and Business Administration, with a focus in Information Technology Project Management. Shaindle also has a Bachelors of Arts from Wayne State University, with an Interdisciplinary Studies focus.
