Darren Chan

Darren Chan is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the retail and finance sectors, currently serving as Managing Director of Food for DFI Retail Group in Hong Kong and Macau, overseeing the largest grocery retailer in the region with over 320 stores and a workforce of 8,000. Chan has held multiple leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer and Finance Director across various divisions, all while maintaining full P&L accountability for business units with annual revenues exceeding US$5 billion. Prior experience includes positions at Jardine Matheson, CSL Limited, Integrated Hospitality Management, The Walt Disney Company, and Deloitte Australia, focusing on financial management, strategic planning, and operational oversight. Darren Chan holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from Swinburne University of Technology, with further education at IMD.
