Michelle Tao

Michelle Tao serves as the Head of Group Audit and Risk Management at Jardine Matheson since February 2020 and holds the position of Director at Gammon Construction Limited. Prior experience includes roles as Finance Director for 7-Eleven and Group Corporate Finance Director at DFI Retail Group from October 2014 to February 2020. Michelle also worked at Jardine Matheson from April 2013 to September 2014 as Group Corporate Finance Manager and held the position of Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from January 2010 to March 2013. Prior to that, tenure at GE Capital included roles as Senior FP&A Manager and Corporate Audit Staff from August 2005 to December 2009. Educational achievements include participation in the Women's Directorship Programme at The University of Hong Kong in 2024, completion of the INSPIRE Leadership Development Programme at INSEAD in 2023, and earning an EMBA in Business Administration and Management from the Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA Program from 2011 to 2013.
