Appurv Jain

Appurv Jain has been in the software engineering field since 2012. Appurv started their career as an Analyst Intern at NewOak Capital, where they were responsible for setting up the Continuous Integration Server to automate build and deployment of software, mining and analyzing macro economic data, and testing and debugging the core analytic engine of proprietary software 'OpenRisk'. In 2014, they began working at FactSet as a Software Engineer for Portfolio Analytics, and then moved to ShopRunner as a Software Engineer. In 2016, they joined Uber as a Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead, and in 2022 they were promoted to Engineering Manager at Jaris, Inc.

Appurv Jain received a B.E. Electronics from the University of Mumbai in 2010, majoring in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Appurv then attended Rochester Institute of Technology, where they received a Master's degree in Computer Science in 2014 and a Masters of Engineering in Engineering Management in 2013.
