Robert Ayello, Jr.

Robert Ayello serves as a Senior Associate at JB&B and is a member of its Life Science and Residential Communities of Practice. He started his career with JB&B in 2007 with the HVAC Department and returned to the firm in 2016 after 3 years with a global consulting engineering firm. His current responsibilities include project management, coordination, design, calculations, field observations, and the preparation of construction documents. Mr. Ayello has led the design of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for university, financial, mixed-use, residential, hospitality, commercial office, and research facility projects worldwide.

Mr. Ayello has provided expertise for major commercial and institutional life science projects such as Alexandria Center for Life Science, JLABS @ NYC, New York Genome Center, New York Structural Biology Center, and King Street Properties’ Innolabs. He has also worked on major commercial and mixed-use projects such as 50 Hudson Yards, 55 Hudson Yards, 300 Lafayette, and 99 Church Street/30 Park Place in New York City, as well as Kuala Lumpur City Centre Lots 185/167 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Mr. Ayello earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
