Kathryn Roberts

Senior Interior Designer Kathryn Roberts is Jasmax’s Interior Design Lead, sitting across all practice groups. Kathryn is an experienced and driven senior designer with a strong sense of design and functionality. She is a recognised leader within the industry and brings a collaborative approach to design and her team.

Having worked in Auckland, Sydney and San Francisco, Kathryn specialises in creating innovative workplace environments and sustainable design. She is passionate about creating environments that test the boundaries to improve the way we work.

Kathryn first joined Jasmax in 2008and was instrumental on the interior design on highly acclaimed projects such as AUT’s Sir Paul Reeves Building and Fonterra Headquarters.

After six years, Roberts left Auckland to gain international experience, where she honed her design skills on a global scale and gathered creative inspiration. Whilst working for Woods Bagot in Sydney she led projects in San Francisco, which led to her relocating stateside. Working with Woods Bagot Global Studio, she delivered projects through North America, Asia and Australia.

Kathryn returned to Jasmax in 2020. Her work leading projects for some of Silicon Valley’s most innovative tech clients such as Google, Genentech, and HP in San Francisco and the Bay Area allow her to add an international perspective to local New Zealand projects, particularly in regards to placemaking strategy across large campuses.
