Kevan B.

Kevan B. started their work experience in 2017 at Javits Center, where they held multiple roles. As an IT Specialist/Lead Technician, their responsibilities included managing the schedule and duties of part-time technicians, providing training to new hires, and revising training material and documentation of IT procedures. Kevan also worked with managers to ensure coverage and budget compliance for monthly shows. In their role as an IT Specialist/Show Floor Technician, Kevan assisted exhibitors with their technological needs, troubleshooted devices onsite, configured and maintained Layer 3 switches, and utilized Cisco WLCs for creating and managing SSIDs. In 2021, they began working as an IT Client Lead at Hi! Tech.

Kevan B. studied at Thomas Edison Career and Technical High School from 2011 to 2015. Later, from 2016 to 2021, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at John Jay College (CUNY).
