Cara Dehnert

Cara Dehnert has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Cara currently works as Counsel at Jayaram Law since June 2022. Prior to this, they served as Director of the Music Business Program at ACM - Academy of Contemporary Music from August 2020. Cara previously held the position of Associate Professor of Instruction at Columbia College Chicago for 14 years, from August 2007 to August 2021. Additionally, they served as Executive Director at I Am Logan Square from November 2010 to September 2012, and as Director of Media Relations at Park West Gallery from August 2009 to August 2011. Cara also worked as a Pro-Bono Lawyer at Lawyers for the Creative Arts from November 2007 to August 2010.

Cara Dehnert completed their education in various fields. Cara obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma in 2002. Cara then pursued a Doctor of Law degree from The University of Kansas, which they completed in 2007. Additionally, in 2007, Cara also obtained certification as an Attorney from the Illinois State Bar Association.

Furthering their education, Cara completed a Master of Arts Management degree from Columbia College Chicago between 2007 and 2010. This degree focused on Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management.

Adding to their qualifications, Cara achieved certification as a Certified Strength Coach from Gallup in June 2019. This certification demonstrates their expertise in coaching individuals to develop their strengths.
