Imran Shabbir Rana

Imran Shabbir Rana has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Imran started their career at Toshiba as a Systems Engineer from 1993 to 1996. Imran then joined PTCL as an Assistant Divisional Engineer from 1996 to 2000. Following that, they worked at Etisalat as an AE/T/L Cable transmission & Junction Network Development role, where they managed fiber optic network backbone design and planning. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at Jazz as a Manager and later as a National Manager for Fiber Optic Operations, where they were responsible for planning, deploying, and operating the nationwide fiber optic transport network. Imran then held the position of Director Operations Central-II/III at Jazz from 2012 to 2015, where they managed access network, fiber operations, core network operations, and regional deployment. Currently, Imran Shabbir Rana is the Vice President and Head of Nationwide Operations Support & RTH CA at Jazz, where they oversee various responsibilities related to access network operations, fiber optic operations, RF optimization, network rollout, vendor management, budget control, project management, process improvement, people excellence, and business excellence.

Imran Shabbir Rana completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunication from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore in the years 1988 to 1993. Imran later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree specialized in Project Management from Preston University, from 2011 to 2013.
