Leon Barnes

Leon Barnes is a seasoned aviation professional with extensive experience in maintenance control and avionics engineering. Currently employed at Jazz Aviation LP since May 2004, Leon oversees and manages line maintenance operations across Canada and the United States, meticulously recording defects in the Trax system to ensure effective communication with maintenance bases. Previous roles include avionics engineering positions at IMP Aerospace & Defence and Avmax Aviation Services, as well as mechanic and technician roles at Air Atlantic Ltd and Provincial Airlines. Leon's educational background includes a degree in Aircraft Maintenance Technology and a diploma in Airframe Mechanics from the College of the North Atlantic, completed between 1996 and 1999.
