Michael Jones

Michael Jones is an experienced professional with a strong background in telecommunications and information management. Currently serving as the SATCOM Maintenance Control Center Manager at Viasat Inc. since August 2018, Michael leads a global team that delivers 24/7 SATCOM support for commercial airlines and business aviation. Prior to this role, Michael was the Network Operations Center Manager at Viasat Inc., overseeing global network monitoring. Michael's career began in the US Marine Corps, where roles included Information Management Officer and Information Systems Management Officer, providing critical insights to C-level executives and managing IT support for over 20,000 users. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the United States Naval Academy.
