Jessica Badur

Jessica Badur, PhD, currently serves as Associate Director of Commercial Strategic Planning and Transformation at Jazz Pharmaceuticals since May 2022, having previously held roles as Associate Director and Senior Manager in Transformation Strategy. Prior to this, Jessica worked as a Consultant and Senior Associate Consultant at Clarion | A Life Sciences Consultancy from January 2020 to April 2022. Academic experience includes a Postdoctoral Associate position at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where research focused on a diabetic "liver on a chip" and collaborative studies on liver-chip tissues, as well as a Graduate Student Researcher role at the University of California, San Diego, where Jessica engineered biomaterials for regenerative medicine. Jessica has entrepreneurial experience as the Founder of ProVazo LLC, where a minimally invasive blood sampling catheter was developed and brought to commercialization through successful funding pursuits. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MS in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from UC San Diego, and a BS in the same field from the University of Virginia.
