Kedar Vaidya

Kedar Vaidya is an experienced pharmacologist specializing in oncology, currently serving as Associate Director of Pharmacology in Early Development at Jazz Pharmaceuticals since February 2020, focusing on the preclinical pharmacology of biotherapeutics and small molecules. Prior roles include Principal Scientist in Oncology Pharmacology at IDEAYA Biosciences, where Kedar worked on small molecule pharmacology related to synthetic lethality and immune oncology. Previous experience at AbbVie involved overseeing in vivo pharmacology for therapeutic antibodies and antibody-drug conjugates, building on earlier work at Abbott and the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where Kedar researched metastasis and cancer biology. Kedar Vaidya holds a PhD in Pharmacology/Cancer Biology from the University of Louisiana Monroe and completed a fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
