Michael J. Taptykoff

Michael J. Taptykoff, MS, is a seasoned regulatory strategy professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Manager of Regulatory Strategy at Jazz Pharmaceuticals since October 2019, Michael is the US Regional Regulatory Lead for a leukemia drug, overseeing IND and NDA submissions, and is also the Regulatory Strategist for a gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma drug on a global scale. Prior roles include Senior Associate, Regulatory Strategy at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, where contributions included successful regional submissions and approvals for oncology products across multiple markets, and Regulatory Affairs Manager at G&L Scientific, focusing on emerging markets. Michael’s career began in regulatory affairs at Genpact Pharmalink and included a consultancy role at Bristol-Myers Squibb, enhancing regulatory systems. With a Master of Science in Regulatory Affairs from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Business from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, Michael brings a solid educational foundation to the regulatory landscape.
