Michael W. King

Michael W. King serves as the Senior Vice President and Senior Associate General Counsel at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, leading the Corporate Legal, Government Affairs, and Public Policy function. Since joining Jazz in August 2020, Michael has been responsible for managing a global team focused on various legal areas, including litigation, government investigations, and corporate governance. Prior to this role, Michael held multiple leadership positions within Jazz's Corporate Legal function and served in various capacities at Novo Nordisk, where responsibilities included managing litigation, compliance, and risk assessment. Michael's earlier experience includes practicing as a Senior Associate at Reed Smith LLP, with a focus on pharmaceutical litigation and trial management. Michael holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, a Master’s in Environmental Pollution Control from Penn State University, and a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science from Elizabethtown College.
