Simona Riva

Simona Riva is a highly experienced professional in the field of bioanalytics and technical services, currently serving as Director and Head of Technical Services at Jazz Pharmaceuticals since September 2019. Previously, Riva held the position of Bioanalytical Development Associate Director at Gentium and worked at Merck - RBM Italy from 2004 to 2019 as NBE Bioanalytics Director. Riva also served as Head of Microbiological Laboratory at Vicuron Pharmaceuticals Italy and Head of Cell Culture Lab at Biosearch Italia SpA, along with an early role as Associate Scientist at Marion Merrell Dow Research Institute. Riva holds a degree in Biological Sciences, Pharmacology, and Toxicology from Università degli Studi di Milano and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Master.
