Sushma Kumar

Sushma Kumar, PhD, PMP, currently serves as Senior Director and Global Regulatory Lead for Oncology at Jazz Pharmaceuticals since January 2024. Prior to this role, Sushma accumulated extensive experience at Merck from March 2007 to January 2024, holding multiple positions including Senior Director and Global Regulatory Affairs Liaison, Director and Principal Scientist in Global Regulatory Affairs, and Associate Director in Project Management focused on Global Clinical Trial Operations. Additional roles included Clinical Research Scientist at Organon Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. and Sr. Clinical Research Associate at Population Council. Early in the career, Sushma worked as a Research Scientist at Nassau University Medical Center in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Endocrinology from Delhi University and a postdoctoral fellowship in Reproductive Biology at Rockefeller University through the Population Council.
