Zack is an entrepreneur, market maven and futurist who brings a rich understanding of the technologies and companies driving human performance technology markets to JAZZ. Zack is a proactive board member and investor across a broad array of markets ranging from workforce optimization to digital therapeutics, and enjoys helping early-stage entrepreneurs achieve their visions.

He was the founder and CEO of NeuroInsights, the leading investment advisory firm analyzing neuroscience related technologies, where he built an early stage global conference ecosystem, working with thousands of startups over 12 years.

He is the author of the best-selling book, The Neuro Revolution: How Brain Science Is Changing our World, published by St. Martin’s Press and translated worldwide. He also founded and curated the Experiential Technology and NeuroGaming Conference and Expo, the industry’s leading summit, bringing together game designers, neuroscientists, technology executives and investors.

Previously, Zack founded the Neurotechnology Industry Organization with over 100 neuroscience companies to accelerate FDA approvals and technology innovation. He also developed the NASDAQ NeuroInsights Neurotech Index, a stock tracking index for publicly traded neuroscience companies.

Zack served on a wide variety of advisory boards of the McGovern Institute for Brain Research at MIT as well as the Center for Neuroeconomic Studies at Claremont Graduate University and the Center for Neuroscience and Society at the University of Pennsylvania.

Zack began his career as a marketing and sales executive at several enterprise software startups in profit optimization, collaborative sales forecasting and risk management.

Zack earned a B.S. in Evolutionary Biology, B.S. in Environmental Science and M.A. in Economic Geography from UCLA.
