Samuel Obasi has a diverse range of work experience starting from 2020. Samuel began their career with a summer program at Future Housing Leaders in 2020, followed by participation in a highly-selective real estate immersion program at Artemis Real Estate Partners, where they gained exposure to various aspects of the industry and improved their financial and valuation modeling skills.
Samuel then worked as a Career Prep Fellow at Management Leadership for Tomorrow, a Fellowship at SEO (Sponsors for Educational Opportunity), and an Equity Research Analyst at BLK Capital Management, Corp.
In 2021, Samuel joined Adventures in CRE (A.CRE) as an A.CRE Fellow and PGIM Real Estate as a Summer Investment Analyst. In 2022, they worked as an Investment Analyst at PGIM Real Estate.
In 2023, Samuel joined Open Access as a Fellow, and later moved on to JBG SMITH as a Financial Analyst. Throughout their work experience, Samuel has developed strong financial analysis and investment skills in the real estate industry.
Samuel Obasi completed their education at Towson University from 2018 to 2022, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Prior to that, they attended Parkdale High School from 2014 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Samuel also obtained certifications such as REFM Certification in Excel For Real Estate- Levels 1 and 2, With Distinction from Real Estate Financial Modeling in July 2023, Microsoft Office Specialist Master Certification (MOS) from Microsoft in October 2019, and Bloomberg Market Concepts from Bloomberg LP.
