Alex Voishvillo is an accomplished professional in acoustics engineering with extensive experience in leading transducer engineering and acoustic research. Currently serving as a Fellow and Director of Distinguished Engineering at Harman Professional Solutions since September 2016, Alex also holds the position of Senior Manager for Transducer Engineering and Acoustic Research at JBL Professional since March 2004. Previous roles include Director of Acoustic Research at Gibson Labs Technology Group and Director of Electroacoustic Research and Development at Cerwinski Labs. Alex's earlier work involved significant R&D contributions at Cerwin-Vega and the Popov R&D Institute for Radio and Acoustics in Russia, focusing on the development of transducers and loudspeaker systems. Alex earned a PhD in computer optimization of loudspeaker crossover networks and an MSc in telecommunications, broadcasting, and electroacoustics from Saint Petersburg University of Telecommunications.
