Pavel Cheshmedjiev

Pavel Cheshmedjiev has been working in the technology industry since 2007. From 2007 to 2009, they were an Expert Developer and Technical Project Lead at SAP Labs. Pavel then moved to Mobiltel as a System Architect and then to Sirma Group Holding JSC as a Software Architect. In 2011, they joined Ontotext AD as a Software Architect, where they focused on research activities in all architecture fields. In 2012, they became Head of Java Department at CNsys PLC and Senior Solution Architect at Bianor, where they were also the NATO AGS Program Technical Lead for the subcontractor. From 2012 to 2013, they were CTO at InterScale, driving innovations, big data services, AI technologies, cloud, enterprise and mobile solutions. In 2015, they became a Partner at Prof.ai and in 2018, they were appointed Head of Technology, Group Trading at The Stars Group. In 2013, they also founded and became CEO of jBoxers, where they focused on blockchain, defi, cloud, AI, gaming solutions and startups.

Pavel Cheshmedjiev obtained their High School Degree from Sofia High School of Maths in 1998, studying Mathematics and Informatics. Pavel then went on to study Computer Science at Technical University Sofia, graduating with a BSc in 2002. Pavel continued their studies at the same institution, obtaining an MSc in Software Engineering in 2004. Finally, they completed their PhD in Informatics at the Bulgarian Academy of Science in 2010. Pavel also holds two certifications from Sun Microsystems, namely Sun Certified Java Developer and Sun Certified Java Programmer.
