Mike Salazar

Mike Salazar is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in project management within the food and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as an Emerging Leaders Council Member at the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce and a Corporate Engineering Project Manager at JBS USA since November 2020, Mike oversees major capital projects exceeding $1M. Prior roles include Engineering Project Manager at Barry-Wehmiller Design Group and Chief Process Engineer at Epstein Architecture, Engineering and Construction. Mike holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, complemented by a Bachelor's in Mechanical Technology. With a background that includes engineering positions at Tyson Foods and M&M/Mars, Mike brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership skills to every endeavor.
