Catalin Marii

Catalin Marii is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in vehicle design and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as the Vehicle Design Engineering Manager at JBT Corporation since April 2021, Catalin has successfully implemented a Stage Gate Development Process that has notably shortened the vehicle design cycle. Previous roles include Engineering Manager at Eaton Aerospace, where oversight of sensing engineering teams emphasized product development and engineering process improvements, and Engineering and Quality Group Leader at Transicoil LLC, directing design, manufacturing, and quality engineering initiatives. Earlier positions include Design Engineering Manager at Transicoil and Senior Project Engineer at Neapco LLC, where Catalin led diverse engineering teams and managed key product development projects. Catalin holds a Master of Science Degree in Vehicle Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest in Romania.
