Thierry Porte has extensive work experience in the financial sector. Thierry started their career at Morgan Stanley in 1982 and worked their way up from the Associate level to become a Managing Director. During their time at Morgan Stanley, they also held positions as President, Representative Director, and Branch Manager at Morgan Stanley Japan. In 2003, they joined Shinsei Bank as President and CEO, where they served until 2008. In 2009, they joined J.C. Flowers & Co. LLC as a Managing Director, a role they currently hold.
Thierry Porte completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University, from 1975 to 1978. Thierry then pursued further studies at Harvard Business School, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from 1980 to 1982.
