Wendy Burke, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Starting in 1995, Wendy served as a Sales Manager for Crowne Plaza Ravinia - Bass Hotels and Resorts, achieving corporate sales quotas and managing a team. In 2005, they joined Trinity Broadcasting Network as the Vice President of Administration, overseeing various departments including Human Resources and Finance. Wendy then joined Herschend Family Entertainment in 2007 as the Director of Human Resources for Wild Adventures Theme Park, where they focused on improving company culture and employee engagement. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as the Regional Director of Human Resources for Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite, before transitioning to their current role as the Director of Human Resources at JC Resorts' Rancho Bernardo Inn. Throughout their career, Wendy has consistently demonstrated their expertise in strategic relationship-building, employee engagement, and achieving organizational goals.

Wendy Burke, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, embarked on their educational journey in 1984 when they enrolled at Florida International University. Wendy dedicated two years to pursuing a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Hospitality Management, completing their studies in 1986. Wendy's commitment to professional development led their to obtain the Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from HCRI in December 2014.
