Amol Wayachal

Amol Wayachal is an accomplished professional in product engineering with over 16 years of experience in the construction and automotive industries. Currently serving as the Assistant General Manager of Product Engineering at JCB since November 2012, Amol has been instrumental in designing cast tipping links and common cast pivot bosses for arms and booms, successfully developing and launching products. Prior experience includes roles at Volvo Construction Equipment, where Amol served as a Senior Manager and was responsible for the design of wheel loaders and casting counterweights, contributing to patent ideas and ensuring design integrity from concept to production. Amol began a career at Galaxy Autoaxle Pvt. Ltd. as a Design & Development Engineer, focusing on mechanical components. Amol holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Design Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University and has further qualifications in CAD and CAE.
