Tom Freethy

Tom Freethy is a Principal Engineer at JCB, where contributions span from September 2015 to the present, focusing on R&D and grant-funded projects in electrification and machine automation, advancing projects from concept to prototype. Prior experience includes an Industrial Placement Student role at Controls and Data Services from July 2012 to July 2013, involving FPGA and ASIC team work, specifically in designing test-bed PCBs and developing VHDL for verification of ASIC designs. Tom Freethy holds a degree in Integrated Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the University of Bath, obtained in 2015.
