Mat Murchison

With a decade of experience in finance and accounting, Mat is responsible for building and maintaining the firm’s growth and profitability through financial operations oversight, strategic budgeting and planning. He further identifies and incorporates new systems and processes to streamline the agency’s operations.

Before joining JConnelly, Mat had a long career in the financial services industry. Previously, he held positions at HighTower, where he led accounting for the RIA segment, oversaw the development and rollout of the proprietary firm-wide billing system and handled budgeting and financial forecasting for more than 100 business units.

Mat earned an MBA and Master of Science degree in accounting from Loyola University. He also holds a CPA certification in the State of Illinois.
