Nan DUAN

Dr. Nan Duan is the Vice President of JD.COM and the Head of the Vision and Multimodal Lab, where they focus on large-scale multimodal foundation models. They currently serve as an Adjunct Ph.D. Supervisor at both the University of Science and Technology of China and Xi'an Jiaotong University, as well as an Adjunct Professor at Tianjin University. Previously, Duan held various positions at Microsoft, including Senior Principal Researcher and Research Manager, specializing in natural language processing and multimodal intelligence. Duan earned a Ph.D. in Natural Language Processing from Tianjin University.
