Haiming Yang

Haiming Yang currently serves as Chief Architect of the CTO Group at JD Group, a position held since September 2015, where responsibilities include organizing the jcloud organization and overseeing the system-level architecture of JD Cloud infrastructure. Prior to this role, Haiming Yang worked at IBM China from November 2012 to September 2015 as a Cloud Architect, focusing on the Eastern Hemisphere OpenStack ecosystem and technical adoption for IBM customers. Haiming Yang has also held positions as Technical Director and OpenStack Cloud Architect at HiChina, Alicloud, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Cisco, where responsibilities encompassed designing virtual cloud data center architecture and implementing cloud platform services. Haiming Yang holds a Ph.D. in Networks from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, earned between 2004 and 2008, and a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University, obtained from 2001 to 2004.
