Adam Wencel

Adam Wencel has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the IT industry. Adam currently works at J.D. Power as a Project Manager, starting in May 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Information Technology Service Desk Manager at J.D. Power from April 2020 to May 2022. In this role, they led the transition and architecture for a 24/7/365 Service Desk team and the formation of a NOC within the Service Desk. Adam also served as the Functional/Technical lead for ITSM/ITIL framework integration and support.

Before joining J.D. Power, Adam worked at Bruce Power, where they held positions such as IT Technician - IT Asset Management from September 2019 to April 2020, IT Technician - Station Support from May to September 2019, and IT Technician - Field Support Lead from January to May 2019.

Prior to Bruce Power, they worked at CARFAX Canada, where they held various roles including Integration Solutions Manager from June 2018 to January 2019, IT Service Manager from July 2017 to June 2018, and IT Systems Manager from April 2015 to July 2017.

Adam also worked at Ascent Inc. as an IT Systems/Network Administrator from July 2012 to April 2015, and at Research In Motion as a Data Network Technician - Coop from March to June 2012.

Earlier in their career, they held positions at Best Buy as a Geek Squad member from November 2011 to June 2012, at FCNetworks as a Systems Administrator Consultant from January 2010 to April 2012, and at LARG*net - London and Region Global Network as a Junior Technical Analyst - Coop from January to December 2011.

Adam Wencel began their education in 2002 at Western University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree for a duration of four years. Their dual major focused on English and East Asian Studies. After completing their undergraduate studies, they proceeded to attend Fanshawe College from 2006 to 2007, where they obtained a Corporate Communication and Public Relations Certificate. This program allowed him to enhance their knowledge in the field of Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Adam furthered their education at Fanshawe College from 2009 to 2013, where they pursued a degree in Computer Systems Technology, specializing in Information Technology.
