Geno Effler

Geno Effler has a diverse work experience in various roles related to corporate communications and public relations. Geno is currently the Director of Corporate Communications at J.D. Power since June 2016. Prior to that, they owned Effler Communications from March 2015 to June 2016. Geno served as the Vice President of Public Relations & Communications at the National Hot Rod Association from February 2014 to March 2015. Before that, they held the position of Vice President of Corporate Communications at Volvo Cars of North America from November 2006 to February 2014, and also briefly served as the Director of West Coast Operations from April 2013 to December 2013. Geno was the Brand Communications Manager at Aston Martin North America from July 2005 to November 2006. Before this, they worked as the Manager of Public Relations/West at Mercedes-Benz USA from 2002 to 2005. Geno started their career at Kia Motors America as the Director of Public Relations from 1992 to 2002.

Geno Effler attended California State University, Fullerton from 1973 to 1977, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
