Ian Chan

Ian Chan, CPA, CMA, has extensive experience in accounting and education, currently serving as Principal of Precertification Education at CPA Canada since November 2008. In addition to this role, Ian is a co-owner of Code Ninjas Burlington and has contributed as a case author for JDC West since October 2018, providing business cases for various post-secondary competitions. Previous positions include General Manager at GolfNorth Properties and Instructor at Niagara College Canada. Ian also held the role of CPGA Head Golf Professional at various golf courses from 1994 to 2006 and served as an online instructor for marketing and retail management courses at The Golf Management Institute of Canada. Ian holds a Master of Education from Brock University, along with CPA and CMA designations from CPA Canada, a Bachelor's degree in Administrative Studies with a focus on Marketing from York University, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
