Tim Riester

Tim Riester is the president and CEO of RIESTER, a public relations firm they founded in 1989. Tim has over 30 years of experience in the communications industry, including stints as a news producer, commercial copywriter, and account executive.

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Tim began their career in broadcasting as a news reporter and advertising production assistant at WCLW Radio in 1981. Tim later moved to Eden's Broadcasting, where they worked as a news producer and commercial copywriter from 1985 to 1989.

In 1989, Tim founded RIESTER, a public relations firm specializing in media relations, crisis communications, and issues management. The firm has been recognized as one of the top PR firms in the country by both O'Dwyer's PR Report and The Holmes Report.

Tim is a past chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and a recipient of the PRSA Silver Anvil Award for Lifetime Achievement. Tim is a member of the Institute for Crisis Management and the National Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame.

-Tim Riester attended Arizona State University for their undergraduate degree in Communications.

-Tim was then an Honored Entrepreneurial Fellow at the University of Arizona's Graduate College of Business.
