Peter Toonen

Peter Toonen has extensive experience in finance and business process management, currently serving as the Global Business Process Owner Finance Professional at JDE Peet's since June 2008. In this role, Peter is responsible for the global Salesforce implementation project, focusing on the integration of finance processes and the automation of Revenue Recognition and Lease Accounting in compliance with IFRS standards. Previously, Peter held positions such as Finance Manager for Small & Medium Enterprises, where responsibilities included serving as a business partner to the Commercial Director and being part of the Operational Management Team. Earlier experience includes roles at Newell Rubbermaid, where Peter worked as a Senior European Reporting Analyst and progressed through various accounting positions. Peter holds a degree from Tilburg University.
