James Bishop

James Bishop is an experienced food technologist currently serving as a Process Technologist at JDM Food Group Ltd since July 2023. Previously, James worked as a Senior Process Technologist at Samworth Brothers from October 2022 to May 2023 and spent over a decade at Bakkavor from August 2011 to October 2022, where responsibilities included launching new salads and deli products for Waitrose. Earlier career roles included Process Development Technologist positions at Northern Foods and Samworth Brothers, focusing on Tesco Pizza products and M&S Ready Meals, respectively. James began a career in food technology as an NPD Placement Student at Uniq, working on M&S sandwiches, wraps, and deli products. James holds a BSc (Hon) degree in Food Marketing Management from Sheffield Hallam University.
