Berdell Knowles

Berdell Knowles possesses extensive experience in utility management, education, and mentorship. Currently serving as a Government Affairs Specialist and Director of Regulatory Affairs at JEA since 2001, Berdell has also been a volunteer at Duval County School since 2006 and a member of the Climate Change Policy Team since 2007. Furthermore, Berdell is a Certified Mentor with the 100 Black Men of Jacksonville and has held various positions at Gainesville Regional Utilities, including Managing Utility Analyst from 1986 to 2002. Academic contributions include roles as Adjunct Professor at Bethune-Cookman University and St. Johns River Community College. Berdell holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from the University of North Florida.
