Sean Conner

Sean Conner has over 17 years of experience in the power industry. Sean started their career at MEAG Power as a Co-op Engineer, where they worked on the construction of a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Power Plant. In 2006, they joined JEA as a Plant Engineer, eventually moving up to Senior Plant Engineer and later Senior Manager, overseeing technical services at the St Johns River Power Park. Throughout their tenure at JEA, Sean managed various capital improvement projects, reduced outage rates, and implemented cost-saving initiatives. In 2017, they transitioned to Manager of Water/Wastewater Maintenance Planning & Engineering before becoming the Director of Project Engineering & Construction in 2018. Sean's work has consistently focused on ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of power plant operations.

Sean Conner attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Sean also holds a certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt.
