Alyce Borchard, PE

Process Engineer at Jedson Engineering

Alyce Borchard, PE has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Alyce started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Oregon State University, where they conducted experiments and analysis related to biodiesel synthesis. Alyce then interned at International Paper, working on process optimization projects and waste stream analysis.

After graduating, Alyce joined International Paper as an REACH Engineer, participating in an entry-level engineering program that allowed their to rotate through various departments. Alyce worked on projects involving statistical analysis, gauge verification, and a chemical usage trial.

Alyce then moved on to Essity, where they held multiple roles including GO! Engineer, Energy Engineer, and Process Engineer. In these positions, they gained experience in various departments such as papermill, converting, and technical services. Alyce was responsible for creating and maintaining an energy report and tracker, as well as participating in monthly reviews.

Following their time at Essity, Alyce joined Hargrove Engineers + Constructors as a Process Engineer. Alyce worked in this role for four years before transitioning to their current position as a Process Engineer at Jedson Engineering.

Alyce Borchard, PE holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University. Alyce completed their undergraduate studies at the university from 2008 to 2012. In July 2020, Alyce obtained a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Alabama Board of Licensure for Engineers and Surveyors.
