Rebecca Boyd, PE has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. In 2005, they started their career as an Engineering Trainee at Robins AFB. After that, they joined Anheuser-Busch InBev as a Group Manager, where they focused on ensuring product consistency and quality while supervising the production workforce.

In 2008, Rebecca transitioned into a role as a Mechanical Engineer at Jedson Engineering. Rebecca gained experience in designing mechanical, HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems for industrial facilities. Rebecca utilized software such as Autodesk Plant3D, CadWorx, and Caesar II for detailed design and analysis. Rebecca then took on the role of Mechanical Department Lead at Jedson Engineering, where they led a team of five engineers and designers.

From 2011 to 2012, Rebecca served as the President of the Savannah Coastal Empire Section of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). As a charter member, they played an integral role in establishing the local professional section and organizing community outreach events to promote STEM subjects and increase SWE membership.

Rebecca's most recent role at Jedson Engineering is Project Manager, which they started in April 2015. In this position, they are responsible for the successful execution of multi-discipline engineering design projects. Rebecca acts as the primary contact for clients, ensuring project goals are met within schedule and budget constraints. Additionally, they proactively communicate with clients about any external factors that may impact project delivery.

In January 2022, Rebecca briefly took on the role of Operations Manager at Jedson Engineering before returning to their position as Project Manager. Throughout their career, Rebecca Boyd, PE, has demonstrated a commitment to quality work, client satisfaction, and promoting women in engineering.

Rebecca Boyd, PE completed their education in Mechanical Engineering. Rebecca obtained a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. Before that, they pursued their studies at Georgia Southern University from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained a GTREP degree in Mechanical Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Rebecca has obtained two certifications. Rebecca received the Professional Engineer certification from the State of Georgia in May 2011. Furthermore, they obtained a Systems Thinking certification from LinkedIn in January 2023.
