Ali Karakaya

Ali Karakaya has extensive work experience in the aerospace industry. Ali is currently working at Jedsy as a Software Team Lead, starting in May 2023. Prior to this role, they were the Head of Flight Simulation at Jedsy since September 2021.

Before joining Jedsy, Ali worked at Aerotim Engineering Ltd. from October 2020 to September 2021, where they served as the Flight Simulation Team Lead. Ali also held the position of Senior Flight Simulation Engineer at Aerotim Engineering Ltd. from August 2017 to September 2021.

Ali's earlier experience includes working at TUSAş - Türk Havacılık ve Uzay Sanayii A.Ş. / Turkish Aerospace Industries, Inc. (TAI) as a Control Design & Simulation Engineer from November 2015 to August 2017. Prior to that, they had co-op internships at TUSAS - Turk Havacilik ve Uzay Sanayii A.S. / Turkish Aerospace Industries, Inc. (TAI) in 2014 and 2013.

Ali Karakaya has a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Middle East Technical University, which they obtained in 2015. Ali went on to pursue a Master's Degree in the same field at the same university, graduating in 2018.
