Maryna Koenig

Maryna Koenig has extensive experience in the language services industry. Maryna currently holds the position of Senior Director of Linguist Experience at Jeenie, where they oversee the linguist experience. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Linguist Operations at Jeenie.

Before joining Jeenie, Maryna worked at CQ fluency as the Manager of Interpretation Services. In this role, they managed interpretation services within the company.

Maryna also has experience in product management, having worked as an Associate Product Manager at Brightway Health.

Maryna held positions at United Language Group and Stratus Video. At United Language Group, they served as a Product Manager, overseeing on-site interpretation operations and leading the product management for video remote interpretation. At Stratus Video, they were the Manager of Language Operations, where they managed a team of healthcare interpreters, implemented process improvements, and transitioned to new systems.

Earlier in their career, Maryna worked at various language service companies, including GLOBO Language & Cultural Solutions, Language Services Associates, Telelanguage, and Language Line, as a Team Lead Russian, Ukrainian Interpreter. In this role, they provided interpretation services and was involved in the hiring and coaching of team members.

Throughout their career, Maryna has demonstrated a strong track record of leadership, operational management, and process improvement in the language services industry.

Maryna Koenig attended the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics. Additionally, they have obtained certifications as a Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) from Scrum.org in July 2020 and as a Certified Medical Interpreter from The National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters in April 2014.
