Carlos Ruiz

Carlos Ruiz is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in product management and research. Since November 2016, Carlos has served as the Chief Product and Technology Officer at Mr Jeff. Prior to this role, Carlos was the R&D Director at Taiger from September 2012 to November 2016 and held positions as Operations Manager and Senior Researcher at iSOCO from February 2008 to August 2012, focusing on EU and Spain-funded research projects in areas such as the semantic web and artificial intelligence. Carlos began an academic career as a Lecturer at Universidad Europea de Madrid, teaching Software Engineering, and held a research role at CETTICO from 2001 to 2008. Carlos holds a PhD in Computer Science from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and has completed post-graduate studies in Advanced Methods of Applied Statistics and Data Mining.
